Bayville Man Airlifted to Hospital After Lacey Crash
Robert Stillwell listed in stable condition
A Bayville man is hospitalized in stable condition at Jersey Shore University Medical Center after a motor vehicle accident in Lacey Saturday night.
Lacey Police said they responded to Lacey Road, about a quarter-mile west of Spaulding Avenue, at 8:16 p.m. on a report of a single-car crash. They arrived to find a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck driven by Robert Stillwell, 47, with "extensive damage." Officers said the cab of the truck was ripped from its frame and was laying in the woods.
Lacey EMS and MONOC paramedics responded to the scene, and Stillwell was airlifted to the hospital.
The Forked River Fire Department and the Ocean County Sheriff's Department also assisted at the scene.
