Brooklyn Man Injured When BMW Hits Guardrail On GSP Near Forked River Service Center
Early morning accident still under investigation, State Police say
A Brooklyn man was injured when his black BMW left the Garden State Parkway northbound, struck a guardrail twice, then came to rest in the center of the roadway, State Police said.
Suhrob Nosirov, 25, was heading northbound at 6:54 a.m. near the Forked River Service Area, when his car left the roadway at mile marker 72.1, and struck the guardrail, Sgt. Adam Grossman said.
The car then "rotated" from the impact and struck the guardrail again. It ended up in the center of the roadway, which was closed for half an hour after the accident, Grossman said.
The BMW was heavily damaged. The other three male occupants were uninjured. Nosirov was taken to Community Medical Center in Toms River, he said.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, Grossman said.

this poor guy probably got into an accident from some inconsiderate person driving way too slow in the Fastlane. I see it all the time, people drive too slow in the Fastlane and cause a disruption in the flow of traffic. they are more dangerous than speeders. yet I have never seen 1 ticketed for driving too slow in the Fastlane. I hope this man is okay and forgives that inconsiderate person

At that time of day I highly doubt that was the cause. He was probably in AC all nite and flying his way home. He might have fallen asleep behind the wheel.

How ironic, just last Saturday heading southbound to AC around midnight I called in what appeared to be a drunk driver in a black BMW with New York tags. Perhaps he attempted to leave in the same fashion he arrived in..

i was just on the gsp heading home from toms river around 5 30 pm when traffic came to a stop because of a 5 car accident. i got off at the berkeley exit to avoid it and went right into traffic from a head on collision. silly humans dont they know roads tend to get slippery when they are covered in slush and snow? .
