1. Brighton on Manchester Avenue in Forked River is having a Mother’s Day promotion. Those who buy a necklace and a bracelet will receive any pair of earrings for free.
2. The Lakewood Blueclaws and FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties hare hosting a food drive beginning today until May 1. Non-perishable food and money for the FoodBank will be collected at FirstEnergy Park. Donations can be made at the games or delivered to the BlueClaws executive offices at 9 a.m.
3. Georgian Court University is hosting their 16th annual Scholarship Classic at the Eagle Oaks Golf and Country Club in Farmingdale. Registration begins at 10 a.m.

4. There is an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at Community Hall in Forked River at 2 p.m.
