Coastal Maryland & Tangier Island Weekend: Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay has so much to offer from historic islands, wild horses, cool ocean breezes, and more. Your excursion begins with a U.S. Naval Academy tour followed by dinner before you check into the hotel in Salisbury, MD. The following day begins with a scenic cruise to Tangier Island with time allowed to explore the charming, picturesque island dating back to the 17th Century. Dinner will be enjoyed in Crisfield, MD. Your final day begins with a tour of Assatague Island, where the ponies roam free followed by lunch at Phillip’s Seafood Restaurant in Ocean City, MD. Culinary Institute of America Lunch, Tour, & Val-Kill: The day begins at the famous Culinary Institute of America (CIA). You’ll enjoy lunch at one of the CIA’s award-winning restaurants and have time to enjoy the gift shop and bakery café. Afterwards, enjoy a guided tour of the institute to learn about its history, curriculum, kitchens, and cafés before heading to Val-Kill, the only national historic site dedicated to a First Lady.
