The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has given the Lanoka Harbor Fire Company a piece of steel recovered from the World Trade Center.  The steel will  be the center piece of a memorial that will be erected on grounds of the Lanoka Harbor Fire Station.  It will be dedicated on the 10th anniversary of the attacks of September 11.  The memorial will honor all those who lost their lives that September morning and will be open to the public for reflection and contemplation.
